DOG WASTE/LEASH LAW: Owners, it is your responsibility to clean up your dog’s waste. It is not fair to expect others to have to smell it, step in it, or clean it up in their yards.
Pets are allowed in Gulf Aire and on Gulf County Beaches. Animals are required to be on a leash per Gulf County Ordinance 2021-06
GOLF CARTS: Children must be 15 years old WITH a valid learner’s permit or 16 years old with a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart, even with an adult accompanying them.
Golf carts are not allowed to cross Highway 98, are not allowed on roads with speed limits above 35 mph, and are not allowed on sidewalks.
Golf cart can operate from sunrise to sunset if equipped with headlights, brake lights, turn signals and a windshield.
Drivers of golf carts can receive a traffic citation for improperly operating a golf cart.
Please observe these rules. Please see the Florida Statute 316.212 which prohibits children under 18 from operating a golf cart without a valid learner’s driving license or valid drivers license.

FIREWORKS: There are only 3 days you can legally shoot off fireworks in Florida: 4th of July, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Please follow these guidelines and be respectful to your neighbors. It is your responsibility to clean up your fireworks debris from the beach.
